New Card Inspired by
the Art of India and Persia

“A picture is a poem without words.” – Horace

This card was inspired by a trip to Morocco as well as images of India. I love the bright colors, intricate patterns, and decorations that I have seen in these countries. The original is painted in gouache on layers of cardboard. I scanned each layer on my Epson Perfection V600 Photo Scanner and printed them on Canon Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte (a heavy cardstock) on my Canon Pro 200 printer. The result is a very rich, brightly colored card. The card is not yet available on this website, but send me a message if you are interested. I have ordered a frame for the original.

The original painting is gouache
on layers of cardboard.

See below for the original painting on layers of cardboard. You can see more paintings (some on layers of cardboard, some on Arches watercolor paper) on my Instagram Page.
